The Regenerative Medicine Industry is now at a critical cross-roads during its evolution into the clinical environment and there are some real challenges ahead including a definite need for reliable standardisation and characterisation methodology.
At Sistemic, we are addressing some of these key challenges in conjunction with our stem cell clients, coming up with practical solutions which will enhance the potential of these developments in safe and effective patient treatment. We have developed a suite of miRNA-based tools for the molecular characterisation of cells including stem cells. These tools are currently being used globally by those that are involved in Regenerative Therapies, using stem cells for disease modelling or producing stem cells for drug discovery & development screening.
